Tiny, who’ll be 21 months old Thursday (that’s “almost two” for people who favor solar age above lunar), saw some change on a chair in my bedroom this morning and became very excited. He really enjoys putting coins in his piggy bank, so I told him he could have them if he helped me count them. I totally expected him to get to three and sort of start jabbering. Instead, he counted all six as if it were no big deal. There is just something unexplainably spectacular about these little advancements – real, measurable proof that his intellect is growing.
