I had never seen Velveeta in its natural state before last night. Here’s a fact: Velveeta is disgusting. Here’s another fact: Velveeta is fantastic. I accept its dual nature; there are many things (I’m looking at you, network television) that I both hate and love.

I have been waiting for this weekend since March. Finally signs hint that the oppressive heat of Summer is on the wane. I’m just taking the weather folks at their word, seeing as it is still hot and muggy, but if predictions are to be believed, tomorrow afternoon will be sunny and cool.

The robopetters went to Target today and the holiday section was rife with tacky, loud and downright pointless Halloween crap. I realized that the spookiest part of most motorized ghoulie garbage is the low grinding of plastic gears and the blown-out audio coming from the speakers.
